Veit & Company, Inc.

Specialty contracting since 1928
Frank Veit founded the Company in 1928 – just before the depression hit. When Frank’s farm truck was idle he rented it out to the county for road construction. Frank’s son, Arthur, took the business from a trucking company to an excavating company during the post WWII construction boom. The company survived the early years by tackling challenging specialty contracting projects. That tradition continues today under the leadership of Frank’s grandson, Vaughn Veit.
Now, more than 83 years after our founding, we’re still taking on tough new projects. Veit’s equipment has grown to an impressive fleet, including advanced construction machinery like our GPS-guided finish grading equipment that ensures the highest precision leveling. And we’ve adopted innovative procedures that save customers time, like our ability to install piling through rock and other dense materials using a downhole hammer drill.
What hasn’t changed over the years? Our attitude. We’re just as resourceful and determined as we were in 1928. Ready as ever to take on your toughest project.
So bring it on! Veit’s got the right stuff. And we’ll come through for you.
