We are a world-class performing arts center, presenting classical, jazz, popular and world music and a wide variety of dance performances.

We provide an inspiring, safe and supportive home for children and families, with decades of expertise in early childhood learning, parenting, child development, afterschool sports and classes, special needs programs and summer camps.
We offer senior adults the opportunity for rebirth as part of a vibrant community, with dozens of activities a week ranging from Shakespeare and sculpture to bridge and T’ai Chi.
We bring the arts, literature and sciences to public schools throughout New York City through our school initiatives.

Founded nearly 150 years ago to serve the Jewish people, The 92nd Street Y, New York promotes individual and family development and participation in civic life within the context of Jewish values and American pluralism.
As a nonprofit community and cultural center, The 92nd Street Y, New York seeks to create, provide and disseminate programs of distinction that foster the physical and mental health of human beings throughout their lives, their educational and spiritual growth and their enjoyment.
