More about the role

This is an exciting job opportunity for you to light the way as a Mechanical Engineer Intern on our Connected Buildings Team in Peachtree City, GA with Signify.

Cooper Lighting Solutions is a business unit of Signify, the world leader in lighting.

The internship program is from February 3rd through May 16th, 2025.

As a Mechanical Engineer Intern, you'll be responsible for learning the different design tools and process projects as requested.

• SolidWorks 3D Design

• Put together prototypes

• Testing prototypes (thermal, electrical, etc.)

• Research for documentation in Databases or our MRP System: SAP

• Collaborate with the team within the different functions

More about you

• Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

• Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software such as SolidWorks.

• Knowledge of engineering principles, materials science, and manufacturing processes.

• Familiarity with testing and measurement equipment and techniques.

• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.

Pay Rate: $21 - $28 per hour (based on year of study)
