More about the role

This is an exciting job opportunity for you to light the way as a 354188 Mechanical Engineering Intern joining our Connected Building Team at our Peachtree City, Georgia location with Signify.

Cooper Lighting Solutions is a business unit of Signify, the world leader in lighting.

The internship program is from February 3rd through May 16th, 2025.

As a Mechanical Engineer Intern, you will collaborate closely with the New Product Introduction project team to build and review samples, work on (BOM) Bill of Materials details, and interact with a cross-functional team to support Connected Building NPI launches.

  • Currently in pursuit of a bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering

  • Demonstrate basic mechanical design approaches and capabilities

  • Have basic knowledge of various material and their structural and thermal properties

  • Excellent communication, organizational and people skills and the ability to work across functional groups

  • Ability to articulate and promote Engineering best-practices.

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship needs.

Pay Rate: $21 - $28 per hour (based on year of study)
