About The Institute for Data Engineering and Science (IDEaS) at the Georgia Institute of Technology The Institute for Data Engineering and Science (IDEaS) provides a unified point to connect government, industry, and academia to advance foundational research, and accelerate the adoption of Big Data technology. IDEaS leverages expertise and resources from throughout Georgia Tech's colleges, research labs, and external partners, to define and pursue grand challenges in data science foundations and in data-driven discovery, with energy infrastructure as one of those grand challenges. We are also dedicated to educating students and those already in the workforce through innovative educational and training programs. About The Neuro Next Initiative at Georgia Tech aims to foster an inclusive collaborative community tailored to the modern discovery and innovation approaches necessary to understand the underlying principles of the brain, develop interventions that restore and enhance function, and address the human impacts of these advances. Job Summary
The Institute for Data Engineering and Science (IDEaS) and the Institute for Neuroscience, Neurotechnology and Society (INNS) seek to hire a Research Engagement Manager, primarily to cultivate external research partnerships with industry, foundations, and government. The individual will be responsible for identifying, cultivating, and assisting in building strategic partnerships that align with the multidisciplinary priorities of IDEaS and INNS. The position is expected to work with institute faculty and senior leadership to identify strengths and priorities for external engagement, apply a consistent approach to seek out external partnerships, and engage with partners in a holistic manner to cultivate productive and long-term relationships.
