Duties & Responsibilities: The ISSO (Battlespace) performs Information Systems Security services for classified programs. Employs problem solving, task performance, and produces finished documentation, e.g., reports, special studies, policy and procedure development, security designs, training programs and assessments. Develops policies and procedures to ensure secure information reliability and accessibility and to prevent and safeguard against unauthorized access to information systems, networks, and data. Conducts system security evaluations, audits, and reviews and develops information system security plans and recovery procedures. Supports high intensity exercises and events which often include Joint and / or Coalition participants. Complete other duties as assigned.

Requirements: Information Systems Security. (100%)
- Provide direct support and assistance in day-to-day administration of the Information Systems Security program. Provide certified professionals commensurate with their responsibilities in accordance with DoD Directive 8140.01 and DoD 8570.01-M and perform ISSO duties.
- Provide guidance and assistance to subordinate units involved in activities as necessary and provide technical review and recommend engineering solutions for all networks.
- Perform all ISSO responsibilities for the DMOC collateral Battlespace enclave, unclassified development systems, and for externally managed systems that require an ISSO within the DMOC Battlespace.
- Provide ISSO support for network interconnections to include releasable classified network connections.
- Systems Accreditation. Establish and maintain enclave and network accreditation and special approval authorizations, as required, for all networked and stand-alone IS operating within the DMOC collateral Battlespace.
- Hardware, Software and Media. Maintain continuous positive control over all IS hardware, software and magnetic media entered, and removed from, DMOC, and the DMOC collateral Battlespace.
- Audits. Execute audits on all DMOC, and DMOC collateral Battlespace computer / information systems IAW applicable policy directives.
- Training. Perform and document initial training for all personnel prior to granting access to any classified IS.
- Configuration Management (CM). Serve as a key member on each unit's CM Board and ensure CM is maintained and documented.
- RMF - Continuous Monitoring Program. Participate in the development and / or modification of the computer environment cybersecurity program and requirements according to DoD and AF Directives, Instructions, or Manuals.
- Other duties as assigned.
