JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Join our dynamic team as the Nittany AI Challenge Program Manager and play a pivotal role in driving AI-driven innovations through experiential student engagement. This position is at the heart of the Nittany AI Alliance, a project-based learning environment where cross-disciplinary teams use artificial intelligence to develop solutions addressing societal challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Leadership:Lead workshops and foster team synergy to support skill development in AI/ML/LLMs. Collaborate with student organizations, faculty, and industry partners to enhance participation and mentorship.

  • Stakeholder Engagement:Build and maintain relationships with alumni, industry partners, and government agencies. Recruit judges and mentors from these networks to support the Challenge.

  • Program Execution:Organize and manage the annual Nittany AI Challenge, guiding teams through prototype and MVP development. Organize and conduct events and meetings to provide resources and advice.

  • Advisory Role:Advise the Nittany AI Student Society and other student groups on strategic initiatives that align with the goals of the Nittany AI Alliance.

  • Marketing and Communication:Work with marketing teams to promote events and achievements across platforms, enhancing visibility within the AI community.

Education and Experience:

Minimum requirement is a Master's degree plus six (6) years of relevant experience. Or, an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Experience in program management, particularly in educational or technology sectors desired

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Passion for AI and its potential to drive societal change.

The salary range for this position, including all possible grades is:

$51,000.00 - $74,000.00
