About the Job

At Brightly, our dedication to innovation drives our product management team to create products that address our customers' evolving needs. We are seeking an accomplished Product Manager to join our Asset Essentials product team. Reporting to the Director of Product Management, you will play a crucial role in assisting in a forward-thinking strategy aligned with market needs. The ideal candidate will be able to leverage their analytical skills to assess market trends, competitive landscapes and customer preferences, ensure seamless coordination across teams to deliver high-quality products, and collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, marketing, sales) to achieve product excellence.

What you'll be doing

As a Senior Product Manager, you will work in a collaborative, energetic, dynamic, and creative environment to drive the strategy of our existing product, Asset Essentials.

Impact You'll Have

You will drive growth and strategy for our product in the manufacturing, education and government verticals. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize analytics and data to drive product decisions, measure success, and iterate on features.

  • Market Analysis: Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies to ensure our products remain competitive.

  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to align on product goals, priorities, and timelines.

  • Customer Focus: Deep empathy for users and a passion for creating delightful product experiences.

  • User Research and Insights: Conduct user research and gather insights to inform product decisions and ensure the mobile apps meet user needs and expectations in partnership with our UX team.

  • Resource Management: Identify value driven opportunities (including establishing TAM, SAM, SOM), managing, understand and share financial outlook, align resources effectively to drive success for your domain.

The pay range for this position is <$120,000 - $160,000>. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Education: Bachelor's degree minimum, MBA preferred or equivalent experience.

  • Experience: Overall 6+ years of experience with at least 2 years in a business facing role is highly desirable.

  • Adaptability: Comfortable navigating and prioritizing in situations of ambiguity, especially in the early stages of discovery and product development. Motivated self-starter with the ability to learn and adapt.

  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and social skills; ability to work across teams with geographically remote team members, including the ability to distill complex concepts for a non-technical audience.

  • Influence: Demonstrated ability to influence without authority and communicate to multi-level audiences including growing and mentoring more junior product peers.

  • Technical Skills: Demonstrate a strong understanding of SaaS product processes. Experience in agile software development practices within a large team environment is desirable.

  • Industry Experience: Experience in the intelligent asset management space, SaaS B2B, or in a fast-paced, complex product environment.
