7:00 am to 3:30 PM As a Mechanical Technician I, you will provide support in the disassembly, cleaning, inspection/maintenance, and repair of main engine fuel pumps. You will work under the supervision of the MRO Value Stream Manager, Chief inspector, and certified technicians to ensure the proper functioning and performance of mechanical components. Functions: Assist in the disassembly, cleaning, inspection/maintenance of main engine fuel pumps in accordance with CMM guidelines and specifications. Assist in troubleshooting mechanical issues, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions to resolve problems and restore functionality. Operate inspection equipment, hand tools, power tools, and machinery safely and effectively to perform mechanical tasks such as disassembly, cleaning, polishing, vapor blasting, part inspection, etc. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment history, documenting findings, actions taken, and parts used. Adhere to safety protocols, procedures, and regulations while performing mechanical tasks, ensuring a safe work environment for yourself and others. Assist in the inventory management of mechanical parts, tools, and supplies as needed. Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. 1-2 years of experience in mechanical assembly, maintenance, or a related field. Basic knowledge of mechanical principles, systems, and components. Ability to read and interpret component maintenance manual and other technical documentation. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing mechanical tasks and inspections. Preferred Skills: Vocational training or certification in mechanical technology, or a related field. Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices and procedures. Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and practices. Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is a plus. #ZR |
