The Opportunity:

Entry level professional individual contributor works under direct supervision, conducting and providing the following:

As an R&D Laboratory Technician I, you will test home appliance products (LG's product or Competitors). You will conduct various tests on home appliance products such as standard performance test, actual usage test, Consumers Union benchmark test, reliability tests, etc. In addition, you will also support engineers with data subscription & quantitative analysis by summarizing all data during tests which is collected from data acquisition systems. More specifically, you will support a wide range of equipment, acquisition system support, and infrastructure improvements in-house. You will be part of a team responsible for creating observation reports that are found during tests and participate in innovation projects as a task member.

As the R&D Laboratory Technician, you will:



  • Conduct actual tests and gather/provide all testing data for next step (performance report, etc.).
  • Provide observation report including process improvements.
  • Provide findings to task leader for next steps.
  • Participate and work as a task member.
  • Communicate and meet with part leader daily to discuss work progress.


Qualifications:

Required:



  • High School/Associate's Degree in related study.
  • Preferred previous experience in laboratory environment.



Base Pay Range: $65,000 - $86,000

*Total compensation for this role will include a commission/incentive plan.

*This base pay range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed.

Recruiting Range
$65,000 - $86,000 USD
