Sr. Designer

Vimeo is seeking a highly talented and motivated Senior Designer with a strong production focus to join our growing team. In this role, you will be a key contributor in shaping and delivering a consistent brand experience across all customer touchpoints. You possess a keen eye for detail, a passion for design excellence, and the ability to translate ideas into high-quality visuals with precision and efficiency. You'll thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring impactful designs to life.

What you'll do:

• Develop and design a wide range of design assets, including website pages, landing pages, lifecycle campaigns, event design and more.
• Maintain a meticulous approach to design, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines and a high level of quality across all deliverables.
• Collaborate effectively with multiple teams - product design, marketing, marketing, web, PMM, content teams to understand project needs and deliver impactful design solutions.
• Contribute to the evolution and maintenance of our design system, including UI components to promote consistency and efficiency.
• Confidently present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders, clearly articulating your design decisions.
• Skillfully brief and direct motion design
• Stay informed about current design trends and best practices to ensure your work remains fresh and relevant.

Skills and knowledge you should possess:

• 5-6 years of experience in a design role with a proven track record of producing high-quality design assets for a variety of applications.
• Expert-level proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects), and similar.
• Solid understanding of UI/UX principles, with a focus on user-centered design and best practices.
• Extensive experience designing for web and email, with a strong grasp of responsive design principles.
• Demonstrated experience with motion graphics and animation, bringing a dynamic element to your designs.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills, enabling you to effectively convey your ideas and work effectively with others.
• Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in B2B marketing and design, understanding the nuances of this specific audience.

Bonus points:

• Experience/understanding with video production and editing, aligning with Vimeo's core product.
• Familiarity with front-end development (HTML, CSS, and JavaScript), facilitating smoother collaboration with developers.

Base Salary Range:

• NYC Metro, Bay Area, Seattle, & Los Angeles: $96,000 - $132,000
• All other US cities outside above metro areas: $86,400 - $118,800
