Arjo'sEquipment Service Technicianis responsible for providing preventative maintenance and repair on Arjo medical equipment in the New York Metro area. You will spend most of your time working on Arjo medical equipment in our Englewood service center....with occasional travel to Arjo's Farmingdale service center.

This role requires an understanding of mechanical and electrical systemsand experience with the tools and processes required to complete the work.

Day-to-day functions include the following:



  • Preventative maintenance, repair services, installations, upgrades at Arjo Service Centers or onsite at acustomer location (hospital).
  • Assist the sales team in marketing company equipment (joint calls, in-services, sales leads, demo and trade show set-up, etc).
  • Comply with all health and safety codes and procedures as mandated by company policy, customer requirements, and regulatory agencies.
  • Ensure reports are completed accurately and submitted within required deadlines.
  • Manage spare parts inventory.



QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Associates degree in an electrical or mechanical discipline, or suitable repair and maintenance experience with electrical equipment and/or a minimum of 3 (three) years experience in a technical, repair or maintenance related field.
  • Electrical and mechanical assembly, repair, or maintenance training and/or certifications preferred.
  • Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical schematics.
  • Ability to move medical equipment, including ability to lift up to 30 pounds and push/pull heavy objects using up to 70 pounds of force.
