A/R Processor

Overview

The Accounts Receivable Processor secures revenue by recording and verifying payments and posting receipts.


Responsibilities

  • Process timely and accurately daily cash applications for assigned lockbox(s) and their corresponding partial payment report(s).
  • Work closely with credit and collections department to resolve cash application issues.
  • Promptly and accurately process credit card transactions for department.
  • Accurately and in a timely fashion process journal vouchers and refund requests.
  • Maintain and resolve issues and requests coming into the AR shared mailboxes
  • Assists other A/R Processor's as needed due to daily volume or absences.
  • Works under the direction of senior staff members.
  • Additional duties as assigned or requested.

Qualifications

  • 3 years office experience preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Moderate understanding of other A/R Systems.
  • Possess moderate understanding of general aspects of A/R or Credit/Collections.
  • Strong math and communication skills
  • Close attention to accuracy and detail.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word & Excel)
  • SAP experience preferred
