Qualifications you'll bring:


  • B.A. or B.S in Finance, Economics, or Business is required. MBA preferred.
  • Previous financial systems experience with Workday and the Adaptive Planning module.
  • Workday Adaptive Planning certification is highly desired.
  • 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles and budgeting processes.
  • Ability to clearly communicate and present complex financial information to the business.
  • Advanced Excel and modelling skills are required, along with proficiency in MS Office.
  • Ability to develop a strong understanding of the business and build partnerships.
  • Takes initiative and executes independently.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Workday Financials Experience and Workday Report Writing capabilities is a plus.
  • Curiosity to foster innovation and pave the way for growth.

Your key responsibilities:




  • Administer the Workday Adaptive Planning platform to meet organizational transformation including design, configuration, integrations, allocations and reporting.
  • Build and maintain financial models that enable efficient and accurate long-range planning and scenario analysis.
  • Develop agile, driver-based scenario planning and analysis tools that inform business decisions.
  • Maintain and support integrations between Workday Financials and Adaptive Planning
  • Generate integrated reports utilizing Office Connect.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues, streamline automation and implement industry best practices.
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts involving new features and enhancements.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy in Adaptive Planning and continually validate and maintain system security roles.
  • Collaborate with Finance Business Partners to gather and analyze business requirements, effectively translate system solutions and clarify decision trade-offs.
  • Proactively make recommendations to team members based on data and analysis.
  • Develop and deliver training materials and hands on sessions to Finance staff to build user fluency with Workday and Adaptive tools
  • Build and update standard and ad-hoc reporting for Board of Directors and Senior leadership.

Where you'll be:

Location: Virtual/remote, with the ability to come to Schenectady, NY for a key meeting or training (if necessary).
