How you'll make an impact:

As an Engineering Intern, you'll work with the Repeater Engineering team on automation of alarms from the repeater sites. The intern will assist with the alarm configuration on the Network Management System (NMS) and writing small programs to capture data for analysis. Along the way, you'll learn the tools we use for monitoring SiriusXM's Repeater Network. In addition, you will collaborate with senior engineers with the developing methods, configuration, and criteria for capturing alarms and reporting to the NMS.

What you'll do:

Work with internal and cross-functional teams to complete network projects based on prioritizations. Intern will report to our Fredericksburg, VA location.

On any given day, you might be:

* Working with cross functional team on projects.

* Assist the team with tools automation.

* Hands-on work in lab coordinating testing the site alarming tools.

* Communicate with Managers and co-workers in formal and informal settings.

* Participate with tool reporting review with other engineers.

What you'll need:

* Internships are open to current students enrolled at a university (those graduating by May 2026 are preferred) and recent graduates who graduated within the 12-month period prior to the start of the internship.

* Currently working towards a Computer Engineering (BSEE), Computer Science (BS), or Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or other technical disciplines.

* Knowledge of programing languages.

* Basic proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) for documentation of test results.

* Strong attention to detail with excellent time management and organization skills.

* Must be able to work full-time during term.

* Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
