Responsibilities

TRC is a global consulting firm providing environmentally advanced and technology-powered solutions for the oil and gas, power and infrastructure industries. TRC has over 7,000 employees in over 150 offices globally, including Canada, China and the UK.

TRC is growing tremendously and seeking an Integrity Engineer to join our Integrity Engineering Services team to assist in the design, development, and implementation of integrity management programs for pipeline networks and facilities.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5~10 years of Mechanical Engineering and Applied Physical modeling analysis Background. Excellent program, include C, C++ Matlab, and Python skills are required. The candidate should be experienced in Electromagnetic Field Modeling Analysis, and experience working with Geographic Information System (GIS) applications such as ArcGIS or QGIS. This is a mid-level position, requiring some technical and communication skills, with a focus on client service. CO2 Pipeline and storage experience are highly desired.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct physics electromagnetic field (time-domain and frequency-domain) modeling analysis
  • Analyze facility and pipeline GIS data using various software packages and tools
  • Assist with pipeline and facilities integrity program assessments and implementations
  • Create processes and procedures to gather required documentation in work order packets.
  • Work closely with customers to ensure projects exceed expectations and requirements
  • Prepare technical reports and assist with proposal development
  • Work seamlessly with internal teams and assist other groups as needed

Qualifications

Education - Qualifications:

  • BS in mechanical engineering or applied physics; graduate degree is a plus
  • Must have 5~10 years of Mechanical, Integrity and Applied Physical Engineering experience or similar experience for upstream facility and pipeline
  • Physics Electromagnetic Field Modeling
  • Geographic Information System (GIS) Software (ArcGIS, QGIS)
  • Program, includes but not limited to C, C++ Matlab, Python and SQL)
  • Experience working with upstream facilities and pipeline networks
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Detail-oriented and committed to delivering quality work with minimum oversight
