Location:The Sanctuary - Outpatient Surgery Center -8970 Colonial Center DriveFort Myers FL 33905 Department: Surgery Center - Sanctuary Work Type: Full Time Shift: Shift 1/8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate:$26.15 - $35.30 / hour Summary The surgical technologist II functions in a perioperative surgical technologist role under the direction of the circulating Registered Nurse. Able to prioritize, organize and implement care of the surgical patient in a variety of specialties. Performs call obligations as assigned. Requirements Education: High School graduate or equivalent, and graduate of accredited program for surgical technologists or accredited vocational school of nursing. Experience: Must have 2 years or more of current Surgical Tech experience required. Certification: BLS (Basic Life Support) through the AHA (American Heart Association) required. CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) through the NBSTSA (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting) preferred. License: N/A Other: N/A US:FL:Fort Myers
