The Department of Biology at the University of Virginia invites applications for a postdoctoral appointment. This appointment will be under the direction and mentorship of Prof. Nicholas Landry. This interdisciplinary position will offer opportunities to collaborate with the Department of Biology, the Biocomplexity Institute, the Quantitative Collaborative, and the School of Data Science at the University of Virginia. The successful candidate will study the spread of contagion on networks through the following focus areas:

This is a one-year appointment; however, the appointment may be renewed for an additional two one-year appointments, contingent upon satisfactory performance. This position comes with a competitive salary, discretionary funds (to be used for equipment or travel), and a benefits package. The expected start date is flexible and could be at any time from February 2025 to September 2025.
