POSITION SUMMARY

The Rooms Inventory Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring maximum lodging availability, guest reservation accuracy, and fulfillment of lodging reservation. They will provide quality assurance on reservations from all market segments to include rate accuracy. Responsible for daily inventory duties including the monitoring of reservations from all booking channels, checking for accuracy, room assignments, and rate alignment with wholesale and group contracts. Provide maximum availability and revenue potential in assigning rooms. Implement guest requests whenever possible, maintain guest service standards. They will work closely with reservations, front desk, sales team, housekeeping, and Owner Relation departments.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
  • Manage Inventory within PMS System
  • Assist with internal reservation requests
  • Manage Inventory with 3rd Party Companies
  • Assist Owner Services with Owner reservations
  • Assign Room Numbers to New Reservations
  • Set up and confirm wholesale reservation requests, including payment & invoicing as needed
  • Assist with Employee reservation requests
  • Trainer of new staff on the PMS System
  • Assist Group Reservations Coordinator
  • Assist Central Reservations during need times
  • Assist Front Desk during need times
  • Other duties as assigned


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Background in Front Desk, Reservations, Sales, or Guests Service


EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
  • High School, but preferably some higher-level degree


The base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of the Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation's hourly pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include many region-specific benefits.

Steamboat Springs area base hourly pay range: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be able to sit and input data for extended periods of time in a noisy environment.
  • Long periods of time on the phone and data entry on the computer.
