Financial Analyst 2, Pathology and Laboratory Medicine - Sales & Service

As a Financial Analyst, you will play a key role in providing financial, administrative, and project support for the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine's Sales & Service unit. Your responsibilities will include a range of essential financial tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the department. Primary duties include:

* Prepare invoices and manage billing summaries using information from university ledgers and Online Financial Reports.

* Generate monthly sales and service reports, as well as departmental fund summaries.

* Reconcile ledgers and support fiscal year-end closing for assigned accounts.

* Audit financial documents for accuracy, ensuring compliance with campus policies and procedures.

* Prepare ad-hoc financial reports and assist with special projects as needed.

* Update and maintain the annual fee schedule.

* Provide consult income summaries and financial insights to stakeholders

Salary Range: $30.56 - $60.82/hour

* Knowledgeable in using Microsoft Suite, with a strong proficiency in Excel.

* Mathematical and budgeting skills to forecast and resolve complex financial problems.

* Strong attention to detail.

* Resourceful with ability to troubleshoot problems.

* Excellent communication skills .

* Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as computer entry.

Not required, but a bonus if you are familiar with:

* UCLA Corporate Financial Services systems (e.g., Recharge System, Transfer of Funds, Non-Payroll Expenditure Adjustment, Financial Journal), QDB/AFCPL.

* Experience in using Tableau.
