The Senior Vice President of Business Development is a key executive role responsible for driving the company's growth strategy through new business opportunities, strategic partnerships, and market expansion. This individual will work closely with the executive leadership team to develop and execute a comprehensive business development plan, ensuring alignment with the company's overall objectives and vision.

You will be responsible for:



  • Partnership Development: Build and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders, including existing & potential partners, clients, and industry influencers. Key areas of focus include EHR platforms, Health Tech companies, Rev Cycle Management companies, and payer channels. Negotiate and secure high-value partnerships and alliances that drive business growth.
  • Provider Channel Expansion: Identify and explore new market opportunities, including other partners in health tech, BPOs, and organizations influencing emerging industry trends. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic decisions.
  • Revenue Generation: Oversee the development of new business opportunities and revenue streams. Create and execute sales strategies and business models to achieve revenue targets and profitability goals in tech, RCM, and payer channels.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Lead, mentor, and hire (when needed) the business development team, fostering a culture of high performance and accountability. Set clear objectives, provide guidance, and support professional development.
  • Collaboration with Executive Team: Collaborate with the CEO, COO, and other executives to align business development efforts with overall company strategy. Provide regular updates and insights on business development progress and performance.
  • Contract Negotiation and Management: Lead the negotiation and management of key contracts and agreements, ensuring favorable terms and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Performance Metrics: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of business development initiatives. Analyze data and adjust strategies as needed to optimize results.
  • Innovation and Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and best practices. Drive innovation within the business development function to enhance the company's competitive edge and operational efficiency.


What you will bring to the table:



  • Bachelor's Degree required, MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in business development, with at least 10 years in a senior leadership role. Proven track record of successfully driving business growth and managing high-value partnerships.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Proven leadership and team management experience.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and competitive landscape.
  • Strong financial acumen and understanding of business metrics.

The range posted is for a given job title, which can include multiple levels. Individual rates for the same job title may differ based on their level, responsibilities, skills, and experience for a specific job. The estimated salary range for this role is$375,000 - $475,000.
