Job Summary

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Pull, scan, and stage product accurately for shipping
• Ability to scan pick slip into warehouse database and update to appropriate status
• Ability to use RF equipment to pick sale orders using varied operating systems
• Stage freight in designated areas
• Ability to inspect and operate various types of power equipment
• Willingness to be cross trained to perform other functions such as receiving and checking
• Responsibility for maintaining a clean, orderly, and safe work area
• Other duties assigned

Additional Job Details

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalency preferred
• 1-2 years successful warehouse/distribution experience
• Ability to operate Powered Industrial Trucks

Skills:

• Must have strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and responsibilities in a timely manner; ability to respond and re-prioritize as customer service needs dictate.
• Communication Skills - Ability to communicate effectively with all levels within the organization to include customer service, sales, finance, employees and managers via phone, email, etc.
• Regular attendance is essential.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Position requires sitting, walking, stooping, bending, talking in person and by phone or video, visual acuity; the stamina to work the shift as scheduled and on a regular basis, ability to work in a non-climate controlled facility with exposure to heat and/or cold in accordance with weather conditions, lifting large, small or awkwardly shaped items on a regular or repeated basis as needed; extensive use of computer or other electronics equipment.
