JOB TITLE - HR Manager
JOB SUMMARY
The
Human Resources Manager is responsible for division-wide human resources
planning and development and will recommend strategies and develop action plans
in support of the company's goals and objectives. She/he will be working in a
fast-paced, non-unionized setting. The incumbent will perform human resources
related duties at the professional level and may carry out responsibilities in
some or all of the following functional areas: organizational development,
compensation, training, employment, health and safety, benefits, and employee
relations.
Essential Functions
Provide a broad range of consultative services regarding
human resource policies and processes. Must have at least 10 years of
experience/knowledge of CA law.
Administer various human resources plans and procedures for
all division personnel.
Ensures that all compensation policies are administered
accurately and effectively as specified by the plan documents and legal
statues.
Participate in developing department goals, objectives, and
systems.
Drive people processes and ensure workforce contentedness.
Evaluate reports, decisions, and results in relation to established goals.
Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual
improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.
Serves as the equal opportunity employment and affirmative

regards to investigating complaint, communicating the findings and taking
corrective action as required.
Help leadership teams to maximize individual, team and
process performance.
Facilitate communication across the division providing
guidance to employees and leaders on problem solving, dispute resolution,
regulatory compliance and litigation avoidance.
Partner with employees and management to communicate various
Human Resources policies, procedures, laws, standards and government
regulations. Ensure the division possesses a strong ability to effectively
manage cooperative approaches toward issue resolution and administration.
Lead the division in managing all aspects of the employee
life cycle, including entering requisitions, reviewing applications to match
experience with specific job-related requirements. Interviewing, screening, and
recruiting job applicants to fill entry level, professional and technical job
openings. Preparing employment offer letters.
Facilitate and/or provide training (including orientation)
to the workforce.
Respond to employee relation issues such as employee
complaints, harassment allegations, and civil rights complaints. Represent the
company for any unemployment claims.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education
4-year degree in HR, Behavioral Science or related is
required
