Account Manager, Dry Eye Device

** This position covers a multi-state territory including Oklahoma and Kansas.

Primary Responsibilities



  • ?Grow Alcon Dry Eye Devices business and achieve annual territory financial objectives by selling and implementing Alcon's innovative and best-in-class dry eye products.
  • Develop and leverage world class account management skills and disease state knowledge to grow cash pay procedures and implement Alcon programs designed to drive doctor recommendations, enhance implementation and improve patient retention
  • Manage the entire selling process including prospecting, qualifying, securing new customers, installation, procedure training, and partnering with customers to grow their dry eye business and procedure volume.
  • Consult, uncover and build dry eye capability of Eye Care practices to improve patient care, practice profitability and Alcon profitability.
  • Provide product and technical procedure training and consultation to doctors on the appropriate use of Alcon products. Provide continued customer training, consulting and coaching, as needed.
  • Create and execute sales focused business plans for the assigned territory.
  • Collaborate with management, peers and cross-franchise counterparts to develop and share best practices for account management to drive revenue
  • Collaborate with Associate Director of Market Development, DM and aligned Account Managers to lead pull-through initiatives with national accounts, regional account, PE network accounts, government entities and key academic opportunities to grow utilization.
  • Manage the territory financial budget.



Minimum Requirements



  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +10 yrs; Assoc.+6 yrs; M.S.+0yrs)
  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
  • 2 years of relevant experience



Preferred Requirements:



  • Previous Medical Device experience
  • Proven Eye Care Sales experience
