Visit us at UnityPoint.org/careers to hear more from our team members about why UnityPoint Health is a great place to work. https://dayinthelife.unitypoint.org/ Responsibilities Position Specific Accountability * Evaluates and treats occupational therapy patients under physician orders * Develops treatment plans for all patients assigned to case load * Maintains appropriate documentation in the patient's medical record * Ongoing commitment to reducing costs and improving productivity in the occupational therapy department * Maintains positive relationships with the health care team, patient and family * Communicates effectively in writing and verbally with all appropriate members of the patient's healthcare team * Adheres to departmental and hospital policies and procedures Qualifications Education: Bachelor degree in Occupational Therapy Experience: Entry level/new graduate acceptable License(s)/Certification(s): Occupational Therapy licensure in Iowa or eligible for licensure in Iowa Valid Iowa Drivers License Maintains Basic Life Support certification Refer to Stroke Service policy for annual stroke education requirements Area of Interest: Therapy; FTE/Hours per pay period: 1.0; Department: Occupational Therapy; Shift: Monday-Friday 8a-4:30p, weekend and holiday rotations in Acute Care; Job ID: 154005;
