Technical Writer

The Opportunity:

As a Technical Writer and Editor, you know that every program relies on well-written documentation to work. What if you could use your expertise and process improvement experience towards developing processes and tools? You have a clear understanding of technical writing and know how an end-to-end understanding can improve the mission. We need your skills to help understand and communicate system elements and ensure long-lasting integration and sustainment.

We have an opportunity for you to join our team as we develop cyber infrastructure capabilities. As a Technical Writer and Editor on our team, you'll plan and prepare the technical data for major publication projects, analyze requirements, develop source material, consult engineering and technical staff, and work with editors and illustrators in preparing a draft. You will provide guidance and direction in the areas of quality, graphics, coverage, format, and style, and ensure adherence to specifications.

You Have:

• 5+ years of experience in technical writing
• Knowledge of multiple writing style guides and requirements using the Microsoft Office product suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Ability to perform reviews and assure the quality of all written deliverables in support of a wide range of customer requirements
• Ability to ensure the production of clear documents that guide and educate the reader
• Ability to apply expertise of client delivery process, tradecraft, and intelligence standards
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audience
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

• Experience recommending and developing a variety of technical documentation based on client needs
• Experience with AWS Cloud services and AWS Solution Architecture diagrams
• Experience with the software development lifecycle
• Experience supporting the Department of Defense
