IMEG Corp. is growing, and we'd love to have you join our team! We are currently seeking a Building Intelligence & Integration Graduate for our Strategic Growth Services team. The Building Intelligence & Integration Graduate - Advisor 1 position is focused on technical activities and duties that support the overall Building Intelligence & Integration team to deliver on all Intelligent Building solutions for our clients. The Building Intelligence & Integration Graduate - Advisor 1 will serve as a hands-on performer of programming, integrating, developing and deploying solutions that incorporate business, facility and specialty systems (vertical market dependent). This position will work to align technical Intelligent Building solutions with broader organizational objectives.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Program facility system technologies (e.g. HVAC/BAS, Security, Fire)

  • Develop solutions with integration software tools/frameworks

  • Maintain project artifacts and deliverables (e.g., project documentation, deliverables, notes, agendas, and permanent project files)

  • Assist in the development of project budgets

  • Collaborate with IMEG colleagues across multiple disciplines to drive and ensure high quality solutions throughout project delivery

  • Assist in making design recommendations, design decisions, calculate costs and propose time schedules with support from senior staff

  • Participate in the coordination of design plans and schedules with the client, the design team, and related subcontractors

  • Participate in client meetings, assist in preparing proposals and presentations, support development of future projects, and maintain good client relations

  • Identify prospective new clients and assist marketing, sales, and delivery teams in the development of new client engagements

  • Address project issues and/or escalation where appropriate

  • Advance IMEG's Advisory & Consulting Services Practice within the industry

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Working knowledge of HVAC/BAS systems

  • BAS programming experience

  • Security Systems implementation and configuration experience

  • Fire Alarm System implementation and configuration experience

  • Specialty System experience (Clinical, Education, Hospitality, Transportation, etc.)

  • IP Networking experience

  • Excellent project management skills to ensure successful project management of project budget, scope, outcomes, quality assurance, resources, and issues identification and resolution

  • Be a positive representative for IMEG and IMEG's HIT Advisory Services by demonstrating leadership and professionalism

  • Ability to work collaboratively with new facility teams, including architects, engineers, facility, security, and other subcontractors as appropriate

  • Proficient in Microsoft and MS Office Suite including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook

  • Ability to travel 10-25%

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Informatics, or other technology related field required

  • No experience required

  • Prior internship experience working in the building design consulting industry preferred

  • This position is not eligible for sponsorship

Physical Requirements

  • Regularly required to sit, walk, stand, talk, see, hear, and lift objects up to 25 pounds

  • Occasionally required to drive, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, reach with hands or arms, and grasp or pull

  • Will have limited exposure to outside weather conditions and loud noises
