Position Highlights:

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Board certified in your primary specialty
  • BE/BC for the ABIM Hospice and Palliative Medicine certification exam
  • DEA license

Compensation:

  • $140/hour. As a valued member of an integrated team, your placement within the pay range is dependent on a variety of factors, including but not limited to FTE, prior experience, certifications, degrees, subspecialties, projected volumes, and quality performance.

  • Hours: Per Diem Resource

Endeavor Health Medical Group (NorthShore), the principal academic affiliate of The University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, is currently seeking a resource per diem, dynamic, team-oriented Palliative Care physician to join the Department of Medicine. The successful candidate for this position will be board certified or board eligible in Hospice and Palliative Medicine.

Our Endeavor Health Palliative Care Service supports patients at any stage of a life-threatening illness and offers a multi-disciplinary approach to patient care. Our Palliative Care specialists are available at the request of attending physicians to assist in coordinating and managing palliative care and hospice patients. The hospital system is extremely supportive of our service to patients in the hospital as well as in our community. A system focus on quality improvement and outcomes allows us to continue to grow and expand our program.
