Hourly Pay Range:

$40.45 - $62.70 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

  • Position: RN Patient Navigator Oncology
  • Location: Edward and Elmhurst Cancer Centers - Naperville and Elmhurst, IL
  • Full Time | 40 hours/week
  • Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. No weekends or holidays

What you will do:

  • Functions on the multidisciplinary team as an advocate, educator, and counselor for oncology patients.
  • Responsible for ensuring all patients with an oncology diagnosis receive quality and comprehensive services.
  • Coordinates patient care throughout the continuum in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Services as a clinical resource with expertise in hematology/oncology care management.
  • Serves as a liaison throughout the facility and in the community regarding services provided for this unique patient population.
  • Provides expert nursing care, which includes: consultation, direct clinical practice, education, and research.

What you will need:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing, required. Master's degree in nursing or related discipline, preferred.
  • Licensure: Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse license, required.
  • Certification: Current CPR Certification issued by either American Heart Association or Red Cross, required. OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse) and Certified Breast Care Nurse (CBCN), preferred
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of previous clinical oncology experience, required.
