We create an unshakable foundation for progress because our multidisciplinary teams also include scientists, economists, builders, analysts and artists. That's why we believe diversity is our greatest strength. HDR is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and an affirmative action employer. Primary Responsibilities The Pump Stations (PS) and Pipelines Section Manager will be an internally and externally facing leader for our "outside the fence" team in the Mid-Atlantic Water Business Group. To meet our Pump Station and Pipelines initiatives, drive growth, and promote innovation you'll be expected to be a presence in the marketplace (e.g. conferences, professional organizations) and to be an effective partner with our client managers and business development leaders (e.g. proposal development). As the Section Manager, you'll be expected to develop and mentor our young engineers and EITs, lead quality reviews, communicate national BC initiatives to staff, and serve as a Project Manager on PS and Pipelines projects for our clients. Lastly, you will be responsible for the workload management of the PS and Pipelines staff to achieve their utilization goals and also the strategic development of their technical resumes for their growth and successful pursuit of key projects.
