HDR is looking for an Electrical EIT/Designer to join our team as an integral part of our Building Engineering Services group with an opportunity to work with talented staff, and to be a part of one of the fastest growing and most critical segments of HDR.

The need is for innovative designs of facility and building related electrical systems over a variety of markets including Education, Science and Technology, Healthcare, Water/Wastewater, Municipal, Industrial, and Federal Clients. This individual will coordinate and work closely with a multidiscipline design team throughout the entire life cycle of projects from planning stages, through the development of construction documents, and construction administration. They will work closely with senior electrical engineers and will be responsible for supporting the development of drawings, specifications, and related engineering calculations, as well as field inspection, the resolution of RFIs, and the review of shop drawings during construction. They should be self-motivated and possess strong leadership skills with a passion to deliver creative, technically excellent electrical design solutions.

Required Qualifications

• BS Degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with Electrical emphasis required
• EIT
• Strong computer skills using Revit MEP and MS Office
• Desire to pursue growth opportunities and obtain registration
• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
• BIM/Revit experience preferred
• Some travel required
