What a day in the life of an Electrician at REV looks like:

  • Assemble Under dash harnesses, switch panels, circuit boards, and a variety of different electrical components
  • Programming the lights from engineering specs
  • Troubleshoot 12V DC and 110V AC circuitry
  • Test products to ensure performance to specifications
  • Reading specs to make sure the trucks are built per spec
  • Perform functionality checks on airhorns, sirens, light packages, flash patterns, door locks Etc.
  • Fix quality issues

Required education, skills, and experience to be successful:

  • Preferred 1-2 years of automotive electrical experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Preferred high school diploma or GED
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and layouts with written and verbal instructions
  • Ability to understand both 12V DC and 110V AC circuitry.
  • Ability to read and use a tape measure for precise measurements
  • Ability to use common hand tools and power tools such as drills, and screw guns
  • Must have the ability to read, write, and perform mathematical computations at a level required for successful job performance
  • Ability to communicate professionally and follow directions
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Successful completion of the drug and background screening

  • Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, and climbing up and down ladders and scaffolding
  • Ability to regularly lift and move 40 lbs. without assistance
  • Ability to work with arms above head

  • Ability to work in non-temperature-controlled environments
