JOB SUMMARY SEIU LOCAL 20 ONLY The primary focus of the Attending Physician IX (Nocturnist-Hospitalist) is providing direct comprehensive care to inpatients of Cook County Health (CCH) hospitals during the night shift. Responsibilities include rotating on an attending directed non-teaching services and Provident Hospital (PH) and John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital (JSH), managing patients in the PH intensive care unit (ICU) including ventilator management and performing bedside procedures, consulting, and collaborating with Intensivist. While on teaching services, supervises house staff, and teaches medical students. Participates in patient experience and quality improvement projects. Participates in CCH approved projects and/or committees. Typical Duties
