About the Role

The Technical Scholar will guide our resellers through the TD SYNNEX ecosystem while providing presales design consultation. Candidates must have AI experience (project or coursework) and be pursuing a degree in a technical field, with an expected graduation within 6-18 months prior to their availability for a full-time position. This part-time internship requires about 20 hours per week and is hybrid, based in either our Greenville or Clearwater office. The pay for this position is $18/hr. Our intent is to transition successful candidates to full-time roles upon graduation.

After the initial 3 months of learning CIS, basics of distribution, assisting sales with unsupported vendors, and mentoring within TD SYNNEX, students will participate in an apprenticeship that includes:

  • Quarterly rotations between departments where skills are best aligned.

  • Working 15 to 20 hours a week in those areas, with the remaining time on the Tech Scholar team.

What You'll Do
  • Consult and advise customers at a technical level.

  • Design and configure technical solutions.

  • Document customer interactions in a tracking database.

  • Leverage internal groups to optimize sales opportunities.

  • Stay updated with the latest technology and products.

  • Maintain high customer satisfaction.

What We're Looking For
  • Entry Level (0 to 1 year of relevant work experience).

  • Expected to graduate within 6-18 months.

  • Actively enrolled in school and pursuing a technical or bachelor's degree.

  • AI experience (project or coursework) is required.

  • Ability to execute instructions and seek clarification when needed.

  • Proficiency in complex mathematical calculations.

  • Clear communication skills to convey necessary information.

  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.

  • Capability to effectively multi-task.

  • Ability to stay alert while performing work.

Working Conditions
  • Professional office environment.

  • Hybrid (60% remote / 40% in-office).

  • This position is not eligible for sponsorship or work authorization.
