Position Overview: Are you passionate about dental care and eager to serve those who serve our country? Spectrum Healthcare Resources is seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team at Naval Station Great Lakes in Illinois. As a government facility, Naval Station Great Lakes offers a unique opportunity to support our armed forces while advancing your career in dental healthcare.

Responsibilities:

Assist dental professionals during patient examinations and treatments
• Prepare patients for dental procedures and maintain proper infection control measures
• Take and develop dental x-rays
• Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited dental assistant program
• Certification as a Dental Assistant preferred
• Prior experience in a dental office or healthcare setting preferred
• Proficiency in dental software and digital imaging systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with a diverse team
