Role Responsibilities:

  • Develops and coordinates production schedules based on customer orders and delivery requirements.

  • Plans and develops weekly production line schedules of assigned departments based on the master schedule plan.

  • May schedule rework, unfinished parts and assemblies, new product releases and special orders.

  • Establishes effective communication with various groups such as customer service, plant buyer, and plant production departments to ensure the on-time delivery of products.

  • Makes or recommends revisions to planned production schedules as necessary when schedules cannot be met.

  • Understand and follow work instructions as applicable.

  • Provide support in other areas when required.

  • Comply with standard work practices and SOPs.

  • Keep area organized and clean.

  • Complies with all EHS and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2 years of inventory control, production planning, purchasing and/or procurement in a manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience with Oracle or ERP systems

  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

  • Union experience
