Description
The Sonographer performs ultrasounds and assists with procedures in a collaborative medical environment. This is a part-time (0.8 FTE) position working daytime hours 4 days per week out of our Woodbury location, but may also support Edina. No weekends, holiday, or on-call work required. Vascular & Interventional Experts is an operating division of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health), a group of local medical practices, owned and led by its physicians, on a mission to give patients more control over their healthcare. Essential Functions:
- Perform non-invasive lower extremity venous reflux testing independently
- Extensive knowledge of the arterial system and deep and superficial venous systems
- Perform resting and exercise arterial physiologic segmental pressures
- General ultrasound scanning, including small parts, abdominal and pelvic
- Ability to recognize pathology and accurately interpret results to providers
- Room and prep patients for procedures
- Care for ultrasound equipment and keep rooms clean, sanitized, and organized
- Maintain certification and compliance with accrediting bodies
- Provide excellent patient care
- Team player. Able to adapt to changing priorities and embrace flexibility in a dynamic work environment.
- Any and all other duties as assigned
Education and Experience Requirements:
- RVT Board Certified
- Ability to travel to clinic locations across the metro up to 50%
- Current CPR & BLS Certification

- Travel independently throughout the clinic, office or surgery center (which may include movement from floor to floor); frequent bending, lifting, standing, stooping or sitting for long periods of time may be required
- Work at an efficient and productive pace, handle interruptions appropriately and meet deadlines
- Communicate and interact in a respectful and professional manner
- Prioritize workload while being flexible to meet the expectations of the daily operations

- Effectively operate equipment and communicate on and operate the phone system
- Work independently with minimal supervision
- Travel to other work locations, if required
