Ameritas is seeking an experienced Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team. The Recruiter will build relationships with business leaders across the organization, consult hiring managers on best hiring practices, and conduct full life cycle recruitment including leading proactive recruitment activities, sourcing, screening, assessing, negotiating offers and ensuring a smooth hiring process. This position will focus on filling high volume entry-level roles.

What you do



  • Manage all areas of recruitment process to include job postings, advertising, sourcing, screening, interviewing, qualifying, negotiating and extending offers.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define their talent needs and job requirements in order to ensure internal and external job descriptions and postings are on target to attract highly qualified candidates
  • Develop position profiles and postings that are attractive to potential candidates.
  • Build relationships with hiring managers and communicate updates on open positions, pipeline, interview feedback, and hiring status
  • Source candidates through sourcing tools and resources to drive active and passive candidates using proactive tactics (social media, networking, and cold calling, etc.). to current open requisitions
  • Implement creative and innovative sourcing methodologies to solve problems and deliver out of the box solutions
  • Partner with business leaders and hiring managers to establish needs to build effective sourcing and networking strategies
  • Conduct initial screening of candidates, including telephone and video interviews and making candidate recommendations
  • Build and maintain network of potential candidates through pro-active market research and on-going relations management; conduct in-depth interview of potential candidates, demonstrating ability to anticipate hiring manager preferences
  • Network within the community to find top talent and build our brand


What you bring



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required
  • 2-4+ years of progressive full-life cycle recruiting experience in a corporate and/or search firm environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with proven ability to take initiative and build strong, productive relationships
  • Experience building and utilizing a variety of sourcing plans and tools
  • Pipelining and passive recruiting experience
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with assigned time frames.
  • Work with a sense of urgency handling multiple high priorities
  • Results-oriented and driven to achieve and exceed goals

About this Position's Pay
The pay range posted reflects a nationwide Minimum to Maximum covering all potential locations where the position may be filled. The final determination on pay for any position will be based on multiple factors including role, career level, work location, skill set, and candidate level of experience to ensure pay equity within the organization. This position will be eligible to participate in our comprehensive benefits package (see above for details). This position will be eligible to participate in our Short-Term Incentive Plan with the annual target defined by the plan.
