Kansas Children's Service League is looking to hire a full-time Head Start Administrative Assistant in Ulysses, KS. This position earns a competitive wage of up to $14 per hour and works a Monday - Friday schedule with occasional evenings and weekends.

JOB SUMMARY

This position operates the phone system, greets visitors and directs them to the appropriate contact, and provides administrative support to staff.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Administrative
    • Assist Head Start Assistant Directors with projects as requested
    • Responsible for daily mail duties including collection and distribution to all delivered mail and message's.
  • Receptionist
    • Receive and distribute all incoming calls and messages.
    • Greet Visitors and direct to appropriate contacts
  • Data Entry
    • Enter paperwork following appropriate data entry procedures
  • Translate
    • Translate various documents as needed

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong computer skills with applications including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Bilingual English and Spanish

Preferred

  • Two years of experience in office setting
