Work Schedule:

100% FTE, day shift. Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 4:30PM. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We are seeking a Supervisor, Healthcare Technology Management to:



  • Provide oversight to the technical staff of the HTM Department.
  • Plan, direct and assign work to biomedical technicians.
  • Verify staff document properly in the Medical Equipment Database to comply with TJC requirements.

Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree of Applied Science in HTM, Biomedical Engineering or related field or Completion of DOD Biomedical Technician training Required
  • Bachelor's Degree of Applied Science in HTM / Biomedical Engineering Preferred

Work Experience

  • 7 years previous experience as a Biomedical Technician in a Healthcare setting as well as three (3) years supervisory or leadership experience Required
  • 10 years previous experience as a Biomedical Technician in a Healthcare setting Preferred

Licenses & Certifications


  • CBET and OEM or computer system certifications applicable to UW Health
