There is never a dull moment with us.Group/Division The Customer Engagement (CE) team is our field based, customer facing organization consisting of Technical Engagement Managers and Application Engineers. The team partners closely with our customers to provide a comprehensive portfolio of products, software, and expertise, to help customers manage yield throughout their fabrication process-from research and development to final volume production. Responsibilities of this group include maintaining strategic client relationships, partnering with our sales team in identifying and closing sales opportunities, ensuring our products meet performance capabilities & expectations, providing critical solutions for improved yield performance, and collecting requirements for future products by understanding customer processes and technology trends. Partnering with our sales organization and factory divisions, this diverse and dynamic team helps ensure alignment between customer needs and product offerings to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.Job Description/Preferred Qualifications The Field Applications Engineer will be responsible for providing technical applications support on KLA metrology products at customer sites with the goal of achieving product adoption. Technical requirements and use cases vary customer to customer making the job challenging, interesting and rewarding.
Responsibilities and skillsets required are: * Developing new applications, use cases and best-known methods for increasing value of KLA products for customers. * Must have analytical and complex problem-solving skills, be self-motivated and driven to make a positive impact. * Must be a strong team player, job responsibilities will include working with cross-functional teams to shape roadmap, close Beta and eval projects. * Must have excellent written and communication skills including delivering technical presentations with clarity. * Experience in semiconductor fabrication industry and semiconductor processing is desirable. * Knowledge of optics, spectroscopic ellipsometry, x-ray spectroscopy, statistical analysis tools and machine learning concepts is desirable. *Some travel (< 10%) within US would be required Minimum Qualifications Master's/PhD Level Degree or work experience of 0 years , Bachelor's Level Degree or work experience of 2 years The company offers a total rewards package that is competitive and comprehensive including but not limited to the following: medical, dental, vision, life, and other voluntary benefits, 401(K) including company matching, employee stock purchase program (ESPP), student debt assistance, tuition reimbursement program, development and career growth opportunities and programs, financial planning benefits, wellness benefits including an employee assistance program (EAP), paid time off and paid company holidays, and family care and bonding leave.
