Extruder Operator (Entry Level)

When your actions lead to success.

  • Confer with Extruder Operator from previous shift regarding status of extruder operation.

  • Prepare cast film line for start-up subject to final approval. Preparation includes, but is not limited to: heat up, cleaning of rollers and machine, setting of resin blend, shimming of die, screen change when needed and cleaning of vacuum box.

  • Mark and pack rolls and deliver them to correct warehouse location.

  • Complete all forms and reports in written English; complete Quality Control report for each roll of film produced; complete production reports and other documentation in accordance with instructions.

  • Maintain extruder and work area in a clean condition.

  • Report any equipment or material problems immediately for prompt correction of problem.

  • Participate in general clean up following shift change.

  • Clean each roll rack before it leaves your work area.

  • To perform all job functions in accordance with the requirements of the organization's safety policies, prerequisite programs, and following all related procedures and work instructions.

  • Basic mechanical aptitude.

  • Ability to mechanically lift heavy loads in a safe way.

  • Good communication skills in the English language (reading, writing, listening and speaking).

  • Proficiency in basic mathematical calculation.

  • High School or GED Equivalency

Compensation:
The compensation and reference to benefits for this role is listed on this posting in compliance with applicable law. The selected candidate's compensation will be determined based on experience, and qualifications. Please note that the compensation and benefits listed below are only applicable to successful candidates who are hired onto local United States payroll.

The anticipated salary range for this position is between $18.00 to $20.00 per hour. DOE.
