Work Schedule:

This is a full-time, FTE 1.0, 1st shift position. Monday - Friday 8:30am-5:00pm. No weekends or holidays. Hours may vary based on department needs.

We are seeking a Cytotechnologist to:



  • Perform microscopic screening of gynecologic, non-gynecologic, and Fine Needle Aspirate (FNA) slide preparations, for the detection of precancerous and cancerous conditions.
  • Write procedure manuals, review quality control results, maintain inventory, troubleshoot and train new employees.


Education:

Minimum - Bachelor's degree in medical technology, clinical laboratory science, or chemical, physical, or biological science

* Completion of an accredited cytotechnology program.

Preferred - Bachelor's degree in cytotechnology

Work Experience:

Minimum -

Preferred - One (1) year experience as a cytotechnologist

Licenses and Certifications:

Minimum - Cytotechnologist (ASCP) certified within six (6) months of hire

Preferred - Specialist in Cytotechnology (American Society of Clinical Pathologists)
