This role is cross-functional with Field Operations, Supply Chain Operations, and more to support the mutual company goal of serving our customers. Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

  • Manage diverse Field Manager inventory teams in the field, through regular communication and data analysis
  • Maintain accurate team rosters in SAP through relationship management and regular and transparent communication with assigned managers
  • Manage ticket queue for ad-hoc requests, while trying to proactively reduce ad-hoc requests
  • Monitor exceptions and proactively resolve issues to prevent insufficient inventory, stockouts, incomplete work orders, and imbalance
  • Manage highly seasonal inventory ramp-up and ramp-down by team and region
  • Partner with Logistics to mitigate transportation-related issues, while trying to balance inventory and expedite costs
  • Partner with all Field Management working directly with the front line to the customers by communicating Supply Chain initiatives, providing direct support with all inventory issues, and driving feedback upwards through Supply Chain leadership
  • Set appropriate stocking levels for all teams and techs to minimize incomplete work orders and achieve service level targets, utilizing reporting on demand, supply, and reorder points
  • Partner with Supply Demand Planning to understand changes in demand at the macro level, using trends from Market Intelligence to aggregate micro changes in demand to support forecasting at a higher level
  • Identify and recommend process improvement opportunities to management
  • Create inventory strategies for new product introductions, holidays, and inventory shortages

Key Qualifications:

  • Experience in customer service, data analysis, inventory planning, and inventory management
  • Ability to think critically, independently, and create solutions
  • Ability to work autonomously and proactively
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with SAP is a plus
  • Proven leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree (Supply Chain, Business Analytics, or Logistics preferred) or equivalent experience
  • 1.5+ years of experience in customer service and inventory planning

WORKING CONDITIONS:

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
