Overview

Join the innovative team at Bruker Nano in our dynamic production environment! Collaborate with a diverse team of technicians and engineers to manufacture our cutting-edge Hysitron product line. As an essential member of our assembly team, you'll work with precision electro-mechanical components, delving into the exciting realm of advanced scientific instrumentation, including atomic force microscopes and Hysitron scanning probe nanomechanical test systems.



Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

* Assemble precision electro-mechanical components and devices under general supervision

* Conduct point-to-point wiring with fine gauge wire and perform PCB soldering

* Utilize test equipment to ensure top-notch quality standards

* Maintain a safe and tidy work environment in adherence to procedures and regulations

* Contribute to team goals, ensuring timely completion of assigned tasks according to production schedules

* Tailor additional responsibilities to match individual skills and experiences

Additional Responsibilities:

* Develop a general understanding of the Hysitron product line

* Collaborate professionally with management and colleagues

* Perform any other duties as required



Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:

* Ability to work independently with guidance from supervisors and trainers

* Preferred experience in hand soldering SMT, thru-hole, or fine gauge wire, or equivalent technical skills; proficiency in precision modeling, crafting, or working with small parts is also valued

* Relevant experience in precision assembly of electrical and/or electro-mechanical devices

* Proficiency in interpreting assembly procedures, circuit schematics, and wiring diagrams

* Keen attention to detail and ability to work with a microscope for manipulating and assembling small components

* Proficient use of hand and power tools may be necessary

* Consistent and punctual attendance is essential

Educational/Experience Requirements:

* Preferred minimum of 2 years' experience in a precision manufacturing environment

* An Associates and/or Bachelors degree in Engineering or equivalent program is advantageous
