Mobile Assessor- Full Time - Overnight/Weekend shifts (Greater Houston Market) Opportunity

Behavioral Health Connections (BHC) in Houston is seeking a dynamic and talented Mobile Assessor Full Time Thursday - Sunday 7pm-330am, working in the Houston and outskirt areas, i.e Woodlands, Sugarland, Baytown, Medical Center, to join the team of compassionate, dedicated professionals. Flexible to work Mon-Fri shifts 6p-12midnight, midnight to 6a and all shifts on weekends. The Mobile Assessor provides mental health assessments for contracted emergency rooms and/or hospitals, recommends the appropriate level of treatment based on the Assessor's assessment of risk factors, and triages patients to appropriate services.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Independently assess mental health of patients in contracted emergency rooms and/or hospitals
  • Must be able to faciliiate transport to various hospitals within multiple countries
  • Completes documentation related to the mental health assessment of patients
  • Determines potential of risk to patients, as necessay

Qualifications

EDUCATION

Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Behavioral Health or related field.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION

Current license in the State of Texas as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Profresional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), or Associate Professional Counselor (APC).

Current CPR, if required by a customer hospital. ("Customer hospital" means the hospital to which BHC is contracted to provide mobile assessment services.)

CREDINTIALLING REQUIREMENTS

Must submitt BHC-Houston Credentialling requirements, including but not limited to updated vaccine/titer records and $290 upfront reimbursed cost for credentialling system access.

Must have a valid driver's license.

EXPERIENCE

Completion of appropriate internship, including the provision of individual, group or family therapy/counseling.

Experience providing individual, group and family therapy/counseling.

Mobile assessment experience preferred.
