Job Summary
Assist with research projects in the poultry science laboratories, the poultry science processing plant, and the poultry science farm. Collaborate with graduate students and faculty by assisting in research tasks and data collection.

Essential Functions

  • Handling and weighing birds
  • Making and weighing feed
  • Recording data
  • Assisting with poultry processing
  • Cleaning and organizing the laboratory
  • Assisting with various types of analysis in the laboratory

Minimum Qualifications

  • Enrolled undergraduate student at Auburn University
  • Must be available to work a minimum of 10 hours per week


Preferred Qualifications

  • Laboratory experience or equivalent from coursework
  • Knowledge of live animal handling procedures

Pay Rate $11.00/hour
Work Hours 10 - 20
