Responsibilities

When your actions lead to success:



  • Supervises a team of employees responsible for financial administrative tasks; primary activities of the team include, but are not restricted to:

    • Compiling and arranging data from local ERP, making computations and preparing reports.
    • Maintaining updated records and processing financial documents relating to billing, purchase and supplies, shipping and receiving, inventories.
    • Monitoring financial transactions within the manufacturing site.
    • Assisting in reconciling accounts, ensuring that financial records align with transactions.


  • Handling match exceptions and addressing discrepancies timely to contributing to the accuracy of records.
    Leads, directs, evaluates, and develops a team of support staff to ensure financial activities are completed accurately and on time.
  • Contributes to the delivery of the financial results:

    • Prepares closing activities to generate the financial results, including more complex transactions. Includes journal entries and accruals, intercompany accounting, inventory accounting, revenue recognition and rebate accounting, account reconciliation and reporting in compliance with accounting standards.
    • Develops analysis and reconciles various balance sheet accounts.
    • Participates in financial statements preparation and validation.
    • Provides supporting documentation as requested by the operating procedures to ensure accuracy of financial data and implementation of control procedures.
    • Provides required documents for external and internal auditors




Qualifications

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required
  • 5 + years of experience as an Accountant.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience in managing and supervising a team
  • CPA is preferred
  • Solid understanding of GAAP and/or IFRS
  • Understanding and use of ERP Systems.
  • Advanced Excel skills and data manipulation.
  • Team management and able to motivate/coach employees.
  • Well-developed organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to collaborate with all plant functions
  • Customer-oriented with good business judgment & integrity
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with a high level of detail accuracy.
  • Strong communication skills.
