Scope of Position:

The Ultrasound division encompasses fixed and mobile Ultrasound equipment located in University Hospital, East Hospital, James Cancer Hospital and OSUWMC Ambulatory Imaging locations.

Position Summary

The Ultrasound Technologist performs sonographic exams and procedures for the diagnosis/treatment of disease or injury. In addition, the position provides patient education and performs quality assessment activities for the division, under the direction of the Imaging Manager.

Minimum Qualifications

ARDMS Abdomen Certification required, unless ARDMS registered in Vascular or OB/GYN. If registered in one of these, may obtain Abdomen within 18 months of hire. 0 years of relevant experience required. 0-2 years of relevant experience preferred.
