Summary:

This position is for a Lead role on the Server Delivery Citrix services team. This individual will Lead in Project implementation as well as business Continuity solutions. They will work with the team on design and implementation of new Application Solutions using various delivery methodologies and complimentary tools. This position will also work to ensure all operational patches and baseline levels are maintained across all various Citrix platforms. This includes both at the ETDC as well as in our BCC and Field locations to improve performance to automate delivery as well as reduce cost of delivering Citrix Workspace infrastructure services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Design, Build, and Maintain Citrix Workspace services solutions (Application and Desktop)
  • Automate deployment and configurations for Citrix Workspace Patches and Updates
  • Build, and Maintain Ivanti User Workspace Manager
  • Build, and Maintain Citrix Provisioning Services image updates
  • Enhance automations and configuration mgmt. following coding standards and tools for server builds and integration activities
  • Ensures timely delivery of IT service Mgmt to ensure the timely delivery and resolution of incident and problems.
  • On-Call 24/7 rotation for emergencies or operational assistance.


Requirements:

Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:



  • Strong understanding of Citrix Workspace services 1912 and related components
  • Strong understanding of Citrix Provisioning Services 1912
  • Strong understanding of Ivanti User Workspace management
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Windows server 2019 / 2016 / 2012
  • Strong understanding of Citrix policies / Microsoft GPO
  • Strong Communication skills / customer service focused
  • Strong understanding of IT service management change/incident/problem


Required experience is commensurate with the selected job level:



  • The Senior IT Specialist level requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 5-8 years of relevant job-related experience
  • The Lead IT Specialist level requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 8+ years of relevant job-related experience
  • The Principal IT Specialist level requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 10+ years of relevant job related experience.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Citrix certified Professional (preferred)
  • ITIL v3 (required)
  • Understanding of Microsoft FSLogix
  • Understanding of Citrix ShareFile
  • Understanding of NetScaler (not required)


Working Conditions:

  • Usually, normal office working conditions.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
  • Occasional overnight travel may be required.
  • Occasional weekend work may be required
  • Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
